California Sight Seers RV club was officially
granted a
June 2002. We are a chartered
member of the African American Recreational Vehicle Association (NAARVA), a
nationally recognized camping organization. (Information on NAARVA can be
obtained on the web at: NAARVA.COM
The California Sight Seers is under the auspices
of the NAARVA Western Region. The Western Region is comprised of the
States of Arizona, California, Idaho, New Mexico, Nevada, Oregon and
Washington.
The California Sight Seers is the first NAARVA
chapter to be formed in the State of California. Members come from
all parts of the state!
OUR PURPOSE IS AS
FOLLOWS:
To
generate funds which will enable the California Sight Seers to provide
contributions for charitable, educational and recreational purposes.

To enhance the family
oriented aspects of love, respect, and friendship.

To interest families
in recreational vehicle camping by promoting camping.

To promote good
wholesome fellowship, fun and recreation, bringing recreational vehicle
owners

together to unite as
one, and share camping experiences.

To sponsor trips to
Colonel Allensworth State Historic Park.

To promote Colonel
Allensworth State Historic Park, by providing information about the park
as we

travel about the
Country.

To set appropriate
standards of behavior for all, and all members are obligated to respect
and adhere

to the NAARVA Code of
Ethics as adopted by the California Sight Seers.
MEMBERSHIP:
Dues are $10.00
per year, payable on January 1 of each year. (Applications for Sight Seer
membership
are attached.)
Applicants for
membership in the California Sight Seers, must be a member of, or join
NAARVA.
Membership fee for
NAARVA is $15.00 per year, and can be processed with your California Sight
Seers membership
application. (For both memberships, enclose a check for $25.00. We will
submit the
NAARVA application for
you!)
CLUB COLORS:
Club colors are
blue, gold and white. T-shirt information can be obtained from the club

FUTURE GOALS:
To
host the NAARVA Western Region rally in California in 2004.
To
host the NAARVA National Rally in California in 2005. (The NAARVA
National Rally held in, Virginia, in June 2002, was host to over 800
Motor Homes!
Be with us when we accomplish these goals. We need
your support!
Directions:
From Earlimart, on Highway 99, take Avenue 56 and drive eight miles to the
Highway 43 turnoff. Turn left on Highway 43 and travel south
two miles to the park exit on the right. Drive 100 yards into the park
directly ahead.
